Bio

Funeral services will be held at 4p.m.Friday in the Woodson Gym for O.B.Sullivan,73,who died at 1:10a.m.Thursday in Stephens Memorial Hospital where he was admitted Tuesday. He had suffered from a lengthy illness. Carl G.Wilks of Iowa Park will officiate and burial will be in Woodson Cemetery under the direction of Melton Funeral Home. Born Aug.17,1897 in Chico,he married EDNA LONG April 16,1917. He had been a resident of Woodson since 1916. He was a retired farmer,retiring in 1959 and was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife of Woodson;one daughter,Miss ROBBIE SULLIVAN of Woodson;two brothers,CARL and CLARENCE,both of Woodson;two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A son,O.B.JR.,preceded him in death in 1967.Pallbearers will be JAMES ELLISTON,SILAS BROWN,JAY WALKER,RAYMOND LITTLE,HOYT MCBRIDE and BILL SANDERS.
