Bio

Dorothy Sue Brown passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 28, at the age of 78. She was born on September 12, 1940 to Homer and Katherine (Lenz) Brown. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Palacios. She was loved by many children during her years of working at Rainbowland Daycare. She is survived by her siblings Dianna (Charlie) Michalik, Doris (Albert) Malaer, Homer (Cheryl) Brown, Ralph (Mary Ann) Brown, Gloria (Ronnie) Benner, Les (Kay) Brown and by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Kenneth Brown, two nieces and a nephew. Visitation will be Sunday, March 31 from 4-6 p.m. with funeral service Monday April 1 at 10:30 a.m. at Taylor Brothers Funeral Home in Palacios. Burial will be at Hawley Cemetery. Rev. Chris Webb will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Palacios. The family would like to thank S.P.J.S.T. Senior Living in Hillje and the IPH Hospice Care for the care and the love given to Dorothy.
