GAINESVILLE — Bobby Gene George, 67, of Gainesville died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005, at the North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville. He was born Dec. 6, 1937, in Denton County to John Newton and Lucille (Erwin) George. On May 14, 1981, he married Bonnie Jean Drake in Gainesville. He attended Sanger schools. He was a plumbing and air conditioning technician. He was Baptist. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, in the Gribble Springs Baptist Church. The Revs. Johnny George and Tommy Sanders will officiate. Burial will follow in Gribble Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, at Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife of Gainesville; one son, Randall Drake of Gainesville; six daughters, Tammy George and Kelly Bell, both of Denton, Lacy West, Raquel Brogdon and Savhanna George, all of Gainesville, and Rachelle Drake of Tennessee; four brothers, Kenneth George, Sid George, DeWayne George and Billy Wayne George, all of Sanger; four sisters, Johnie Mae Meador of Carrollton, and Mary Boyd, Margaret Jones and Ruthie Bryson, all of Sanger; and 12 grandchildren.
