Bio
Ruth Ellen Bryson, 67, of Sanger, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on January 15, 1946 in Denton to John Newton George and Lucille Elizabeth Erwin George. She married Jerry Bryson on June 16, 1961 and was a member of Bolivar Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2014 from 5-7 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Rev. Dickie Amyx officiating. Burial will follow at Sanger Cemetery. Ruth is survived by her daughters, Gina Sons and husband Mark, and Glenna Blagg and husband Bobby; son, Mike Bryson and wife Shawna; sister, Ada Margaret Jordan; brothers, Kenneth George and Billy George; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry; her parents; a great grandchild, Presley; 5 brothers; and 3 sisters.
