Bio

Henry D. Oates drowned in the Illinois River near Havana Sunday. He is the son of Oscar and Christine Stover Oates. He is survived by three sons, Dale and Donald of Pekin, and Lewis of Oklahoma; and a daughter Miss Barbara Oates of Pekin; and two brothers, Arthur and George, both of Pekin.
