Bio

Julia A. Kropp, 98, formerly of Thorndale, died December 10, 2006, in Bartlett, Texas. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, December 14, 2006, at Providence Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will be 11 a.m., Friday, December 15, 2006, at Taylor Brethren Church, 710 Sloan Street, Taylor, Texas. Burial will follow at Taylor City Cemetery. Julia Agnes Kropp was born on January 6, 1908, to Robert and Agnes Schneider in Thorndale, Texas. She married Willie Kropp, and this marriage was blessed with two wonderful children. Julia spent her life farming and working in the fields. She loved the farm and still always managed to have a garden as well. She loved spending time with her neighbors, sewing, and cooking. Julia was a warm-hearted and loving mother, who was always there for Joy Lee, Ray, and the grandchildren. Julia took pride in her family and loved her family very much. She was our ultimate family role model. She will be greatly missed by her many loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie Kropp; and a daughter, Joy Lee Sosa.
