Bio

Kropp, Willie of Route 1, Thorndale. Age 65. Died on Monday, December 7, 1970, in a Taylor hospital after a brief illness. Services were held on Wednesday at Condra Memorial Chapel. Burial in Taylor City Cemetery. Rev. Joseph A. Barton officiated. Condra Funeral Home, Taylor, in charge of arrangements. He was born on May 30, 1905, and married Miss Julia Schneider on October 28, 1928. He was a farmer and resided at Route 1, Thorndale, for more than 40 years. Survivors include his wife, Julia Knopp, of Thorndale; daughter, Mrs. Joy Lee Schiller of Temple; son, Major Ray A. Knopp, presently stationed in England; sister, Mrs. Ernest (Matilda) Buchanan of Thorndale; three brothers, Tom of Eola, Ed of Bastrop, and Adolph Kropp of San Antonio; and five grandchildren.
