Bio
William Osborne Marler, a resident of the Fruitland community for the past 11 years, died at St. Mary's hospital, Albany, Ore., February 11, from injuries which he received when he was struck by an electric railway car near that place on February 8. The body was brought to Payette and funeral services held at the Methodist church Sunday afternoon, with Rev. George C. Todd officiating. Mr. Marlar was born in Missouri July 1, 1856. and married to Harriet Elizabeth Scott on Feb. 18, 1877. Seven years later they came to Nebraska where they lived for 24 years and from there moved to Idaho. Besides his wife he leaves to mourn his loss three sons and four daughters.
