WENDLAND, Mrs. Emma (Carl) of Taylor. Age 89. Died on Sunday, December 16, 1972, in a Taylor Rest Home where she had made her home since her husband's death on April 5, 1971. Services were held on Monday at Condra Memorial Chapel in Taylor. Burial in Taylor City Cemetery. Rev. David Bulgerin and Rev. E. Herber officiated. Condra Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements. She was born Emma Eulenfield on January 28, 1884, in Williamson County. Married Carl Rudolph Wendland on November 13, 1902. Member of St.Paul Lutheran Church of Taylor and devoted to her faith and church. Preceded in death by her husband; son, Arthur; daughter, Edna; five brothers; and four sisters. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Gus (Lena) Schramm, Sr. of Thorndale, Mrs. Clara Wendland of Eola, and Mrs. Dora Yancey of Austin; four sons, Albert of Taylor, Alfred of Manor, Charlie and Gilbert Wendland, both of Hutto; two brothers, Albert and Walter Eulenfield, both of Taylor; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
