Altha Honea March 18, 1932 - November 30, 2018 Altha Honea, 86, of Kipling Community, DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on November 30, 2018 in DeRidder, LA. Altha, the daughter of Austin and Irene (Bailey) Frusha was born on March 18, 1932, in DeRidder, LA. Visitation will begin Sunday, December 2, 2018, from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Monday, December 3, 2018 from 9:00 AM until time of service in the Dry Creek Baptist Church, Dry Creek, LA. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 3, 2018, at 2:00 PM, in the Dry Creek Baptist Church, Dry Creek, LA with Rev. Charlie Bailey & Rev. John Gray officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery, DeRidder, LA. Altha was a member of Dry Creek Baptist Church in Dry Creek, LA. She was a lifetime resident of the Kipling Community. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Gary Honea, and wife, Terry; Daughter, Diane Honea; daughter-in–law, Kathy Honea; Sister, Marie Marks; five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren & 2 great-great-grandchildren. Altha was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Dwane Honea; son, Larry Honea Sr.; grandsons, David Alan Honea, Gary “Mann” Honea & Arnold Dartez.
