Bio

Funeral services were held for Willis Frusha, age 79, of DeRidder, Louisiana, on Friday, October 8, 2004, at Hixson's Funeral Home, located at 210 North Pine St., DeRidder, Louisiana. Interment followed at Hopewell Baptist Church near Bundick Lake. The Rev. Delbert Isbell will officiated the services. Mr. Frusha was a native and life long resident of Beauregard Parish. He graduated from Sugartown High School in 1943 and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Survivors include one son of Lafayette, Louisiana; two daughters; four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Austin Frusha and Irene Bailey Frusha; his wife Louie McCullough Frusha; one infant son, Roger Dale Frusha and one grandson Ryan H. Sterling of Baton Rouge. He loved all of his family and he had a great sense of humor. He will be sadly missed. Arrangements were entrusted to Hixson Funeral Home in DeRidder.
