Mrs. Bowden was born in Texas on May 6, 1934. She married Johnny Bowden in [text ended] Surviving are her husband, Johnny, Abilene; her father, R.J. Hilburn, Greenville; five sons, Bobby and Joe Bowden of San Angelo, and Allen, David, and William of Abilene; three daughters, Teresa Bowden, San Angelo, and Johnnie and Cathy of Abilene; two brothers, William Hilburn, Sulphur Springs, and Ray Hilburn, Tyler; and six sisters, Gussie Ferrish of Longview, Zora Tanton, Greenville, Nadina Wilson, San Angelo, Haxell Culver, Fort worth, Helen Streetman, Arkansas, and Dora Winchester, Sulphur Springs.
