Bio
Sandra Gail Sanders, age 68 of Winchester, passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Vanderbilt-Harton Medical Center in Tullahoma. A native of Franklin County, she was born on May 10, 1953 in Winchester to the late B.D. and Martha May (Stephens) Miller. A devoted homemaker, she enjoyed cooking, sewing, and mending. She had a creative mind and was good working with her hands. Sandra was the leader and coordinator for putting on several charitable events. It truly left an impact on her life knowing that she had helped someone else. She will be remembered for her giving and generous spirit and as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her brothers, Austin Miller and Tommy Miller. She is survived by her husband of forty-nine years, Sherrill Sanders; children, Vincent Sanders (Crystal Davis) of Decherd, Rocky Sanders of Winchester, and Nicole (Leonard) Barbeau of Estill Springs; grandchildren, Chelsey Sanders, Lacee Barbeau, Taleigha Sanders, Chase Sanders, and Colt Sanders; sister, Brenda Brock of Belvidere; brother, Ray (Bobbie) Miller of Belvidere; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 12-2pm on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bro. Ricky Taylor officiating.
