Bio

Mrs. Sophie Marie McNeil, age 85, of Nacogdoches, died Saturday night in a Nacogdoches hospital. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Waco, Monsignor Ed Rabroker as celebrant. Burial was at St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Kotch Funeral Home in West. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. George (Bernice) Binder Jr. of Nacogdoches; one sister Miss Ann Sykora of Waco; four grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. Kotch Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
