Bio
Agnes Holy Landsfeld, 97, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018, in Ennis, Texas. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Agnes was born in Ennis, Texas to the late Louis M. and Frances (Zabojnik) Holy. She grew up in Ennis and graduated from Creechville High School. On January 21, 1941, she married Joe John Landsfeld and they lived in the Ennis Area. She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church and KJZT #16. She loved spending time with her family. She was an excellent cook, she loved gardening, raising food for her family and beautifying her yard. She also enjoyed working on the farm and tending the cattle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe John Landsfeld; brother, Ted Holy; and sisters: Mary Sylvia, Frances Pleiner, Henrietta Salik, and Dorothy Harrison. Survivors include her sons, Joe Landsfeld and his wife, Janice, and Michael Landsfeld; daughter, Lorraine Nash and her husband, Bill; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; sister, Victoria Vlk; sister-in-law, Betty Landsfeld; and extended family and friends.
