Frances H. Pleiner, 87, passed away in Ennis, Texas, on Thursday, March 20, 2014. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, March 24, 2014, in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Rosary at 7 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2014, in the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church with Father Henry Drozd as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery Frances was born in Ennis, Texas, to the late Louis and Frances (Zabojnik) Holy. She grew up and attended school in Ennis. Frances married Joe B. Pleiner and they made their home in Ennis. She worked for Ennis Furniture, but her greatest accomplishment was being a wife, mother and homemaker. She was a member of the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church and the KJZT #16. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe B. Pleiner; brother, Theodore Holy; and sisters, Henrietta Salik and Dorothy Harrison. Survivors include her sons: David Pleiner and wife, Darlene, Sammy Pleiner and wife, Libby, and Ned Pleiner; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters: Agnes Landsfeld, Mary Sylvia and Victoria Vlk; sister-in-law, Lydia Holy; many other relatives and friends.
