Bio
Victoria Holy Vlk, 92, born July 6, 1932, in Alma, Texas, passed away February 2, 2025. She was the daughter of Louis and Frances (Zabojnik) Holy. Victoria grew up in Ennis and graduated St. John high school. On October 21, 1950, she married Stanley Louis Vlk. They shared over 59 years of marriage. A devoted wife, mother, homemaker, beloved nana and grand nana, Victoria touched many lives through her various roles in the community. She worked for St. John Cafeteria, Haggar Slacks, Ennis Furniture, and Ennis ISD. Victoria was a member of St. John Catholic Church, the KJZT #16, KJT #35, and the Ennis Sewing Circle. She is preceded in death by her husband Stanley, her parents Louis and Frances Holy, her brother Theodore Holy, and her sisters Henrietta Salik, Dorothy Harrison, Agnes Landsfeld, Mary Sylvia, and Frances Pleiner. Visitation will be held in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel in Ennis on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, 8:30 a.m. with rosary at 9:00 a.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will follow at St. John Catholic Church in Ennis at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery Ennis under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
