Bio

August Robberts, 50, died about 10 a.m. Saturday from a heart attack while working at his job in Norfolk. He never married. The funeral will be held Wednesday with burial in New Lutheran cemetery. He was born Aug. 2, 1901. His father William Robbert died in 1911. He was also preceded in death by 3 half brothers: Raymond, Arnold and Harold; 1 sister Leona. He was survived by his step father and mother Mr. and Mrs. Carl H. Carstens, 4 half sisters: Mrs. Edna Kurpgeweit, Mrs. Minnie Vyhildahl both at Meadow Grove; Mrs. Viola Broek at Wichita, Kanasa; Mrs. Martha Witzka at Norfolk; 3 step brothers: William and Albert Carstens at Norfolk, Carl Carstens at Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. He was the nephew of Rev. H. W. Robbert at Norfolk.
