Berger, Otto H, Otto Berger, Mechanic And Rancher, Dies Funeral services for Otto H. Berger, 71, were held Monday, June 17, from Hubbard Funeral Chapel with burial in St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery. Rev. Charles Carolan officiated. Mr. Berger died at 8 p.m. Saturday, June 15, at Youens Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient for some time. The son of Frank and Maria (Richter) Berger, he was born August 24, 1902. He was married to Regina Helmcamp on February 4, 1925, and was a lifelong resident of Weimar, working as a mechanic and rancher. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife and one son, Robert of Houston; three grandchildren; one brother, Henry, of Columbus; and two sisters, Mrs. Pauline Skrovan of El Campo and Mrs. Meta Kahlden of Weimar. Five brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. Pallbearers were Ed Kloesel, Edwin Haidusek, Leo Hudec and Herbert Wick of Weimar; Leon Berger of Columbus; and Joe Gold of La Porte.
