James T. Penn worked for North American and retired from there after working many years. He was a very tall man as were his brothers Henderson Penn, who was the oldest of James Penn's siblings, Cecil Penn, and finally the youngest of the tall brothers was Sydney "Syd" Penn. James also had two sisters named Lena and Tressie. "Jim" as he was called by his family, had a wife named Myrtle and that union produced many children. Their names are Ima Jean, Kenneth, Dixie, Ann, Carolyn, James, Fern, J.T.,(who died as a child of blood poisoning)and Faye. Many are deceased at this writing. Unfortunately after a very long marriage the union between James T. Penn and Myrtle did not last. He remarried a woman that had bright red hair named Billie. Their union produced no children. Uncle Jim as he was known to his nieces and nephews died in 1973 of cancer after being a heavy smoker most of his adult life. He was 76 years old. He was well thought of and is very missed by his family.
