JASPER HENDERSON PENN who's nickname was "Buddy" was a veteran of the Army in WWI and even though a very handsome man, he never married. Died while working for the Dallas Fire Department. Henderson Penn fell off the water truck on Main Street in Dallas and was kicked in the head by the horse. He died from the horse kick causing brain injury. It was classified as Death in the Line of Duty. He also owned a restaurant in Kaufman,Texas but name of it is unknown. He left no spouse behind or children. But he did have five other siblings: James(Jim)Penn, Lena Penn Griffey, Cecil Dewitt Penn, Tressie Bee Penn Osborne, and Sydney Penn. J. Henderson Penn was the son of Charles Wesley Penn and Jennie C Johnson Penn and is buried next to his mother.
