Bio
Elsie Mucha, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, died peacefully on June 15, 2013, at the age of 94. She was born on December 4,1918 to Joe Srnensky and Rosie Simcik Srnensky. On December 17, 1939, she married Raymond Mucha, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son, Larry Mucha; and three sisters, Bertha Christianson, Angeline Hobbs, and Lillie Martinets. Elsie is survived by her daughter, Kathy Scruggs and husband, Farrell, of Huntsville, TX; her son Bobby Mucha and wife, Janie, of Georgetown, TX; her granddaughters, Michelle Jones (Turk) and Holly Stephenson (Jon); her grandson, Jared Scruggs (Shane); and five great-grandchildren, Justin and Kristin Jones, and Jack, Emma, and Paige Stephenson. The family would like to thank the staff of SPJST Nursing Home for their excellent care of her during her stay there. We truly appreciate each and every one of you. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday June 18, 2013 at 10 am at Taylor Brethren Church. Burial will follow at Taylor City Cemetery.
