In Memoriam DOUGLAS F. WILLIAMS June 26, 1929 ~ January 9, 2018 (age 88) Douglas Williams, 88 of Duncanville, Texas, passed away January 9, 2018 at Dallas, Texas. He was born June 26, 1929 at Cokeville, Wyoming, the son of Even and Nettie Williams. He married Mary Grant at Hugo, December 6, 1980. Douglas was a sawmill worker. He worked for Reynolds Wilson and Huffman Lumber in Idabel before moving to Dallas. He retired from Jamison Manufacturing in Dallas County. After retiring, he opened a Bandsaw repair shop in Duncanville, where he and Mary had resided for the last 37 years. Douglas is survived by his wife, Mary Williams of the home; sons, Dane Williams and wife, Betty of Sheridan, Arkansas and Nicholas Keith Williams and wife, Cindy of Texarkana, Arkansas; step-son, Jim Justus and wife, Kim of Dallas; step-daughters, Vicki Justus of Idabel and Diane Downard of Coalgate; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter; numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; mother of his children, Joyce Williams; sons, Jimmy Williams and Kevin Williams; brothers, Chester Williams and E.J. Williams; and sister, Sible Lee. We had been out of town and read of Doug's passing after the service had already been held. Otherwise, we would certainly have been there to honor such a good man.
