In Memoriam JOYCELYN WINONA WILLIAMS July 1, 1931 ~ November 13, 1979 NO CRIME INVOLVED IN DEATH No foul play is suspected in the Tuesday death of Mrs. Douglas F. Williams, W.B. "Hoppy" Denison, Idabel Chief of Police, said this morning. Mrs. Williams was found dead in her home at 1307 SE Van Buren in Idabel about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. She had been reported as missing early Tuesday morning by her husband, who thought she might have left the house without telling him where she was going. Pending return of an autopsy report, cause of death appears to be suffocation, Chief Denison said. However, there were absolutely no signs of a struggle or any evidence to indicate foul play and Mrs. Williams' medical history tends to indicate the death occurred through misadventure, Denison concluded. Born July 1, 1931 in Lakeview, Ore., she had resided in Idabel the past 10 1/2 years, moving from Pine Bluff, Ark. She was a protestant. Survivors include her husband, Douglas F. "Doug" Williams; three sons, Dane of Fordyce, Ark., Nick of Texarkana, Ark., and Kev of Idabel; her mother, Minnie Vineyard of Adell, Ore.; one brother, Clint Burnham of Adell; two sisters, Rose Hollingsworth of Lakeview, Ore., and Jean Rogers of Adell; and four grandchildren. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Friday in the Idabel Norwood-Welch Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Arthur Crawford officiating.
