SERVICES CONDUCTED FOR DENNIS POHL, 42, AT BRUNO MONDAY Funeral services for Dennis John Pohl, 42, of Bruno, were held Monday morning, September 28, from St. Anthony's Church in Bruno with Father Dennis Hunt officiating. Concelebrating the Mass of Christian Burial was Father Dan Pohl, Father Adrian Herbek and Father Bob Roh. Mr. Pohl died September 24 at the Butler County Hospital. Music was by St. Anthony's Choir and Estella Miratsky, organist. Members of the Knights of Columbus and American Legion Reida Post 273 of Brainard attended the services. Pallbearers were Larry Hlavac, Jim Miratsky, Gary Yindrick, James Egr, Ed Meysenburg, and Richard J. Sabata. Burial was in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Bruno. Dennis, the son of John and Elsie Pohl, was born October 12, 1944 at Bruno. He graduated from Aquinas High School in 1962. On July 27, 1968, he was united in marriage to Carol Polacek. Three children were born to this union. He lived on a farm near Bruno. He was a maintainer operator for Franklin Township and was also engaged in farming. A member of the Catholic Church, he served in the U. S. Navy, was member of the American Legion and a member and past president of the Jaycees. Survivors include his wife, Carol of Bruno, three children, Kristine, Cindy and Matt, home, two brothers, Tom of Bruno and Ken of David City, a sister, Mary Ann Prigge of Surprise; and his mother, Elsie Pohl of David City.
