FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR ACCIDENT VICTIM Funeral services were held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Bruno, December 22, for John Pohl, Jr., 9, who died December 19, at the David City Hospital, following an accident the previous day. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Kopecky officiated at 9:30. Music was by the church choir accompanied by Mrs. James Miratsky. Serving as pallbearers were Donald Yindrick, Jerome Polivka, Richard Sabata and Robert Smith. Burial was in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Bruno. John was born to Mr. and Mrs. John F. Pohl, October 1, 1949, at Bruno. He attended school at District 54 for two years and was attending St. Mary's School for the third year. He was a member of the Catholic Church and of K. D. Lodge, Juvenile Branch, No. 53. He is survived by his father and mother, three brothers, Kenneth, now serving with the Air Force at Kessler AFB, Biloxi, Mississippi, Dennis and Thomas at home and a sister, Mary Ann at home, also his grandmother, Mrs. Mary Pohl of Bruno and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Attending the services were Rt Rev. Msgr. Lisko, the Rev. Vincent Kelly, the Rev. Edward Halar, the Rev. Raymond Roh and the Rev. Daniel Pohl. Other friends and relatives attending were from: Arlington, Wahoo, Omaha, North Platte, Grand Island, Seward, Fremont, Abie, David City and Bruno.
