Bell was born in Anderson Co, TX to Jesse Jasper Ferguson Sr. and Mary Carmel Killion Ferguson. She married Robert Levi "Bob" Gibson 12 September 1900 in Anderson County. Their sons, Alvie and Virgil, are buried in Roselawn Park. She is listed as Sarah Isabell Gibson on her Anderson County death certificate.
