Bio
Born near Loma, Nebraska. Moved to a farm near Staplehurst where she grew up and received her education. After completing school she did domestic work for farm families. Married Louis Ruzicka on April 28, 1937, in Lincoln. Lived on his farm for several years near Polk. Moved to Central City; and later to Grand Island where they made their home. She worked at the Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant until its closing and then worked for Dreisbach's for 26 years. Member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Survivors were one daughter, Patricia Barr of Brenham, Texas; five sons, Richard Ruzicka, James Ruzicka, John Ruzicka and Thomas Ruzicka of Grand Island and Robert Ruzicka of Phillips and grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband in 1964; two infant brothers, and three infant granddaughters.
