Bio
Louise V. Johnson, 84, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007, in Waco. A rosary and funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with the Rev. Timothy Vavarek officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery near West. The family will receive visitors from 7 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Louise was born in West, Texas, to the late Adolph Peter Matus, Sr. and Frances (Cvikel) Matus. She attended schools in Brooken and Cottonwood. On October 6, 1972, she was united in marriage to Ervin Johnson in Baymanette Bay, Alabama. She worked as a Nurse Aide for a few years and then as an inspector for the Holiday Dry Cleaners in Dallas from 1965 to 1972 until she moved to Florida where she fished commercially for lobsters. She later moved back to Dallas and then to Bellmead. Louise enjoyed reading and gardening, talking on the phone visiting with all her friends. She was preceded in death by her husband on April 10, 1991; and sisters, Frances Wills and Hattie Griffin. Survivors include sisters, Mary Jo Marek and Betty Pareya, both of West, and Elizabeth Hejl, of Ross; brother, A. P. Matus and wife, Lil, of West; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Waco Tribune-Herald: 3/2/2007...I1
