Bio

Charles Jackson "Jackey" Urbanek, Sr. 64, of West Columbia, died May 9, 2014, at Lexington Medical Center. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 13, at Dust to Dust Green Burial and Nature Reserve Cemetery, in Swansea, SC. Born in Richland County, he was a son of the late Paul Charlie and Annie Elizabeth Parker Urbanek. He was preceded in death by his brothers Johnny McElrath and Paul Michael “Mickey” Urbanek; and sisters, Barbara Pate and Peggy Stough. Surviving are his two daughters, Christie Martin (Scotty) and Cindy McGovern (Jack); his son, Charlie Urbanek (Angie); four grandsons, Michael, Bryan, and Tyler Martin and Dillon McGovern, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
