Father: Sidney Louis "Sid" Moore Mother: Dora Rhoades --------------------------------------------- John L. Moore, 88, died June 11 in a Corpus Christi hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Seaside Chapel Funeral Home. Interment was in Seaside Memorial Park. Mr. Moore was born in 1914 in Gatesville to the late Sid and Dora Moore. He graduated from Gatesville High School. He moved to Corpus Christi in 1948 where he worked until his retirement in 1972. He was preceded in death by his sister, Effie Turner. Survivors include his wife, Eileen Moore of Corpus Christi; one son, Jim Moore of Atlanta, GA; and three granddaughters. ~~The Gatesville Messenger and Star Forum; Saturday, June 22, 2002
