The Columbus Daily Telegram Friday, April 16, 1945 Last rites for Mrs. Frank (Mary) Mostek, 69, of 1215 5th street, will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Bonaventure church. Rev. Fr. Armand Lubanski will officiate, and burial will be in St. Bonaventure cemetery. The body will lie in state...at McKown Funeral Home... Mrs. Mostak died Wednesday evening at University hospital in Omaha. She had been in failing health the past two years. Nee Mary Korus, she was born Sept. 13, 1895, at Tarnov, the daughter of Joseph and Victoria Shemek Korus. She was married to Frank Mostek Sept. 24, 1913, at Tarnov, and they farmed around Albion and Tarnov before moving to Columbus. She was a member of St. Anthon's church and the St. Theresa Sodality. Mrs. Mostek is survived by six sons, Dennis of Peder, Steve of Seattle, Wash., Leo of Grand Island, Edward of Waterloo, Ia., and Casmier of Golden, Colo., and Joseph of Columbus; and five daughters, Mrs. Frances Kelly of Omaha, Miss Irene Mostek and Mrs. Sig (Lucille) Ciecior of Columbus, Mrs. Clem (Henrietta) Ogg of Lincoln, and Miss Theresa Mostek of Denver, Colo. Also surviving are 35 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and three brothers, Joe Korus of Columbus, frank of Chicago, and Eddie of Omaha.
