Bio
Mable M. Siebert, age 88 of Henderson, NE, died Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Henderson. She was born October 6, 1928 to Abraham and Katherine (Goossen) Dick in Henderson. She was united in marriage to Raymond Siebert on March 28, 1947 in Henderson. Mable was a homemaker, but also sold Avon and Tupperware, and later on worked in the hospital kitchen. She was a member of Bethesda Mennonite Church, where she belonged to Mission Circle, taught Sunday School, and her and Raymond were youth sponsors. She enjoyed growing flowers, baking, and collecting a variety of things. She also crocheted and sewed, as every member of the family received a quilt. Most of all, she loved her family and enjoyed hosting and spending time with them, especially on holidays. Mable is survived by her sons: Don (Chery) Siebert and Keith (Susanne) Siebert; daughter JoAnn (Mike) Friesen; and daughter-in-law Margie Siebert. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, sister Blanche Franz, and sisters-in-law Wilma Dick and Elva Janzen. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, son Steve, grandson Shane, and brother Kenneth Dick. Graveside services will be held at 2:15 PM, Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Bethesda Cemetery, Henderson. Memorial services will follow at 3:00 PM on Tuesday at Bethesda Mennonite Church.
