Bio
Thelma Eulalah Acox Funeral Services for Thelma Eulalah Acox 88, will be at 11a.m. Saturday at the Craddock Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Robert Hudgins will officiate, with interment in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Ardmore. Acox was born May 7, 1907, to George Edwin and Sarah Ellen Wade, Albin in Cornish, and died Dec. 21, 1995, in a local nursing home. She was married to Gerdis Acox in 1922 in Montague County, Texas. He preceded her in death May 8, 1972. She was a resident of Ardmore since 1945 after moving from Ringling. Acox was a homemaker and a member of the Ardmore Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness. Survivors include two sons, Doug Acox of Lone Grove and Jerry Acox of Ardmore; one daughter, Yuma Allen of Lebanon; one sister, Berdie Lawrence of Ringling; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Acox's grandchildren will serve as bearers.
