Esther Lucille Newman, age 94, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017 in Lincoln. She was born on September 8, 1922 in Ansley, Nebraska to Ivory and Harriett Viola (McCollough) Real. Esther was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, George R. Newman; son and daughter-in-law, John I and Eunice O. Newman; son-in-law, Gary L. Moore; nine brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by: her daughter, Esther Moore; sister, Zella Newman; five grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Memorial service on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at American Lutheran Church in Lincoln, Nebraska. Interment in Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.
