Funeral services for Mr. Frank Waters, age 79, of Lindale, Texas are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Sunday, January 29, 2017 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Charles Breithaupt and Rev. Collin Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery with services under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Directors in Lindale. Mr. Waters died Tuesday, January 24, 2017 in a Tyler hospice center. He was born in Swan, Texas on April 30, 1937 to L. C. and Elizabeth (Wheat) Waters and was a lifelong resident of Smith County, Texas. Mr. Waters worked for Carrier and retired from Kelly Springfield in 1992 after 24 years. He was a member of the Red Springs Missionary Baptist Church and calf roped on the local circuit with his favorite horse, “Buck”. He loved hunting, fishing, baseball, especially his Texas Rangers, and raising a garden. As the baby of the family, he was preceded in death by his parents; 6 sisters and 2 brothers. Mr. Waters is survived by his wife, Linda Waters of Lindale; son, Cleve Waters and wife, Jodi of Whitehouse; daughter, Donna Waters of Arp; grandson, Parker Waters of Whitehouse; granddaughter, Tiffany Waters of Tyler; great granddaughter, Cameron Waters of Tyler; and a host of nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Dan Waters, Roger Waters, Ronnie Melton, Buck Thompson, Darryl Nickerson and Tim Kelley. Honorary pallbearers are Ray Waters, Nathan Melton, Parker Waters, Ryker Kelley, Jason Echternach and Sam Echternach. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home.
