Earline Lucy Slovak, 86, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016, in Ennis, Texas. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, November 28, 2016, in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis with Rosary at 7 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, November 29, 2016, in St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church of Ennis with Father Fred Caldwell as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery of Ennis. Earline was born in Garrett, Texas, to the late Frank Louis and Mary Margaret (Slovacek) Mach. She grew up in Garrett and graduated from Garrett High School in 1947. In 1951, she married Emil Edward Slovak and they made their home in Ennis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emil, in 2008; a son, Donald Wayne Slovak; and brothers, Frank Mach and David T. Mach. Survivors include her sons: Emil Ray Slovak, Charles Lee Slovak and wife, Pamela, Larry James Slovak, and Bobby Joe Slovak and wife, Rita; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Edmund Mach; sisters: Wilma Bobabec, Mildred Banks, Margaret Cerny, Elizabeth Vanek, and Mary Ann Glenn; along with a multitude of other family and friends.
