Bio

Tony Matteo, 73, funeral will be held Tuesday with burial in Prospect Hill cemetery. He died Saturday morning at his home in Norfolk. He was born June 13, 1920 at Omaha to Angelo and Carmelia (Albanese) Matteo. He entered the U. S. Air Force during World War II. He served as a staff sergeant form Feb. 1942 to Oct. 1945. He was married on Jan. 3, 1947 to Hazel Herbert at Los Angeles, California. He was survived by his wife, 2 brothers: Raymond, Albert; 1 sister Mrs. Victor {Caroline} Dean all at Norfolk.
