MARGIE M. PENN-MINTER was born on 26 February 1877 in Pine Forest, Hopkins County, Texas to Stith Hammons Penn and Clementine "Clem" Elizabeth Sarah Hargrove-Penn. Margie maried Dr. Guy Z. Minter 6 January 1895 in Hopkins County, Texas, and they had FIVE children (that are known of): Gretta Minter-Bigalow-Foster (1896-1949), Grace Minter (1898-1933), Guy Forest Minter (1903-1912), Hazel Minter (1905-1986), and Marlin PJ Minter (1909-1995). Margie passed away on 10 September 1970 in Sulphur Springs, Hopkins County, Texas, and was buried at Pine Forest Cemetery in Hopkins County, Texas. _____________________________________________________ Services for Mrs. Margie Minter were held in Sulphur Springs. She was born Margie Penn and married Dr. Guy Minter in 1895. He preceded her in death. Survivors include two daughters - Miss Grace Minter, former Graham teacher and Miss Hazel Minter, Hopkins County Clerk; one son - Marlin P.J. Minter of Lubbock. The Graham Leader September 17, 1970
