Fort Bend Herald, August 18, 2016: Funeral services for Troy Allen Tielke, 73, of Beasley, TX, will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at Frieden's United Church of Christ, 7526 Ave E, Beasley, TX 77417, with The Rev. Joshua Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at Freidens United Church of Christ, Beasley, TX, for one hour preceding the funeral service. Troy passed away unexpectedly at his home. He was born July 22, 1943, the son of Lee Roy and Alice (Preuss) Tielke. Troy served in the United States Army; he underwent basic training at Fort Polk and then was assigned to Fort Hood. Troy worked at Gulf States Tube, the Beasley Drive In, and then for Lamar Consolidated Independent School District for many years. He loved visiting and laughing with his friends. Troy had a kind and giving heart and was always willing to help someone in need. He is survived by his two sisters: Janette Van Gossen and husband Daniel, Sandra Startz and husband Larry; nieces and nephews: Dax Startz and wife Colette, Reed Startz and wife Darcie, and Ross Startz, Connie Van Gossen Band and husband Mark, Suzanne Zurovec and husband Paul, Donnie Van Gossen and wife Susie, Ronnie Van Gossen and wife Heidi; great nieces and nephews: Kaylee Startz, Keegan, Logan, Gavin and Graycen Startz, Cole and Cade Zurovec, Laney and Daegen Fowler, Ryder and Kyler Van Gossen, Madelyn Medve, Wyatt Van Gossen, Amanda Koone and husband Matt, Cody Van Gossen and wife Edith, Morgan and Mackenzie Van Gossen; aunts and uncles: Viola Fuchs and husband Clarence, Eleanor Tielke, Melvin Tielke and wife Willie Mae, Ora Lee Lamensky, Caroline Macik, and Margie Janacek. Troy is also survived by numerous cousins and friends. Troy was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Roy and Alice Tielke; his brother, Gary Tielke; grandparents, Willie and Minnie Tielke, Martin and Elsbeth Preuss; uncles, Raymond Tielke, Frank Macik, Clarence Lamensky, Pete Mesecke, aunt, Wilma Mesecke; cousin's Connie Tielke and Patty Lamensky. Pall Bearers will be Donnie Van Gossen, Ronnie Van Gossen, Paul Zurovec, Dax Startz, Reed Startz, Ross Startz.
