Bio

Martin A. Vitek, retired electrical inspector for Stone & Webster Engineering Co. in Boston, died of cancer at his home. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and an Army veteran. Mr. Vitek, the husband of Bernice (nee Jurgensen) Vitek, is also survived by a daughter, and five sons, a sister, Mary Ann Schense, and a brother, Edmond Vitek, both of Wahoo, Nebraska, and nine grandchildren. Mass was said on July 15, 1998, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, where he was a communicant, with burial in Memory Gardens of Hardin County. Obituary: The Commercial Appeal , 14 Jul 1998
