Bio
Bernice Ann Vitek was born in Wahoo, Nebraska, the daughter of Lillian Simpson Jurgensen and Benjamin Jurgensen. On January 8, 1955 she was united in marriage to Martin Andrew Vitek, who preceded her in death. During her life she had worked as a waitress for many years. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church. She loved knitting, cross-stitching, gardening, and caring for others. In addition to her mother she is survived by a daughter, four sons, two brothers: Donald Jurgensen and Benjamin Jurgensen, Jr. both of Sedalia, Missouri; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. In addition to her father and husband she was preceded in death by a son: Daniel Leon Vitek; and a brother: Arnold Jurgensen. Obituary: The Commercial Appeal , 30 Dec 2007
