Hubl were held Tuesday, March 21, 1994 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church in Stockton, Ca. The Mass of the Resurrection was con-celebrated by the Rev. Leo Delgado, CMF, Rev. William Moore, Rev. Edwin Mooseburgger, SJ and Rev. John Fallon. Readings were read by granddaughter Debbie Vaccerezza and grandson Dale Kimminau. The Offertory Gifts were presented to the celebrant by Sister Loretta Hub B.V.M. and Karen Kimminau, daughter and granddaughter. Pallbearers were six grandsons: Darrel Kimminau, Dale Kimminau, Douglas Vaccerezza, Terrence Blank, Eugene Hubl Jr., and Terence Colburn. Interment was at Cherokee Memorial Park near Stockton. Alyce Agnes was born to John and Anna (Ourada) Pavelka on September 4, 1915 at Spring Ranch, Nebraska. She attended Prairie Rose, District 4 School and was a 1932 graduate of Lawrence High School. After graduation she taught Prairie Rose School. On April 28, 1937 she was united in marriage to Victor A. Hubl at St. Martin's, Loucky, Catholic Church west of Deweese. They lived on farms in the Lawrence, Red Cloud and Burwell areas. In 1955 they sold their farm at Burwell and moved to Stockton, Ca. where they operated a dairy and orchard farm. In 1966 they retired and moved into Stockton. To this union eight children were born. Alyce was a loving mother and grandmother, always with her cheerful ways willing to lend a helping hand. She will be greatly missed by her family and all those who had the privilege of knowing her. She underwent Open Heart surgery on March 10 at the Stanford Medical Center in Stanford, Ca and although appearing to be recovering nicely, passed away suddenly on March 17, 1994. Preceding her in death were her parents; a brother Joseph Jr.; and a grandson Raymond Kimminau. Survivors are her husband Victor, sons Eugene of Acampo, Ca and Gary of Bakersfield, Ca.; daughters: Mrs. Arnold (Marie) Kimminau of Lawrence, Mrs. Emil (Irene) Vaccerezza, Mrs. Richard (Maxine) Blank, Mrs. Pat (Geraldine) Moore and Judy Hubl all of California; 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
