Funeral services for Mrs. Daniel L. Wolf, 66, who passed away at Ingleside hospital at Hastings on Friday, Oct. 4, were held Monday afternoon at the Sowl chapel in Ord, followed by interment in Ord Cemetery. Death was due to cerebral hemorrhage. Myrtle Agnes Blackstone [sic] was born at Dawn, Mo., Jan. 22, 1869 and when a girl moved with her parents to a farm in Red Willow county, Nebraska, near Indianola, where she lived until her marriage to D. L. Wolf on Sept. 23, 1886. They lived on a farm near Bartley, Nebr., until 1916, then moved to Taylor county, Iowa, and in 1920 returned to Nebraska, purchasing a farm in Springdale community east of Ord which has been the family home ever since. Mourned by Four Sons Five sons were born to Mr. and Mrs. Wolf of whom one, Ray, died in 1916. Mrs. Wolf is survived by her husband and by four4 sons, Scott Wolf of California, Carl Wolf of North Loup, Harry and Cecil Wolf of Ord. There are 13 grandchildren. Also left to mourn are her mother, Mrs. E. E. Blackstone of Wray Colo., one sister, May of Wray, Colo., two brothers, Harry Blackstone of Curtis and Will, who lives in Washington. When a young girl Mrs. Wolf became a member of the Methodist church near Bartley. At time of her death she was a member of the Ord Methodist church and Rev. Mearl C. Smith conducted the last rites.
