DANIEL L. WOLF Farewell services were held on Sunday afternoon in the Hastings-Pearson Chapel for Daniel L. Wolf, who died on Friday, April 17. The services were conducted by Rev. Keith A Shepherd. Interment was in the Ord Cemetery. Daniel Lincoln Wolfe, son of Eugenes and Mary Wolfe was born on August 20, 1860 at Newburg, W. Va., and passed at Ord, Nebr., on April 17, 1953 at the age of 92 years, 7 months and 27 days, being bedfast only 4 days. Mr. Wolfe came to Bartley, Nebr., with his parents when 20 years old and homesteaded 10 miles south of Bartley. On Sept. 23, 1886 he was united in marriage to Myrtle Blackson at Bartley where they lived until 1915. They then moved to New Market, Ia., living there four years. In 1919 they moved to a farm east of Ord. In 1935 Mr. Wolfe moved to Ord and has made his home here ever since. To this union five boys were born, Scott, Ray, Carl, Harry and Cecil. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle; two sons, Ray and Carl; and three sisters. He is survived by three sons, Scott and Cecil of Arcata, Calif., and Harry of Ord. Also one half-sister Mrs. Coray Flanigan of Bartley, Nebraska. Mr. Wolfe was a life long member of the Methodist church and for years was very active in church work.
