+ Esther Amos NAMPA - Services for Esther Amos, 85, of 436 Central Midland Boulevard, Nampa, who died Friday in a Nampa nursing home after a long illness, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Alsip Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Warren D. Combs, Assembly of God Church. Interment will follow in the Kohlerlawn Cemetery. She was born July 21, 1892, at Dry Valley, Neb., where she was reared and educated. She married Ted L. Amos Dec. 19, 1913, at Broken Bow, Neb. They lived in Nebraska until moving to Nampa in 1944. Mr. Amos died in 1955. She was a member of the Nampa First Assembly of God Church, Nampa. Surviving are two sons, Edwin L. Amos, Denver, and Bernard G. Amos, Lewiston; four daughters, Mrs. Charlotte Larsen, Council Bluffs, Iowa, Mrs. Robert (Wilma) Rose, Victoria, B.C., Canada, and Mrs. Bob (Alberta) Allen, Boise; two brothers, Walter Mattos, Caldwell, and Ernest Mattox, Nampa; 22 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, two sisters, a son and a grandson. The Idaho Daily Statesman (Boise, Idaho) October 9, 1977
