Bio

Bernard G. Amos, 73, a retired banker and longtime Lewiston resident, died Sunday at his Lewiston home of cancer. He was born Sept. 25, 1923, to Ted L. and Esther Mattox Amos at Sargent, Neb. He married Ruby J. Shaffer Dec. 13, 1947, at Melba, Idaho. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Deanna; two sons, Brett A. and Bruce; a brother, Edwin; four sisters, Charlotte, Wilma, Vera, and Alberta; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Preceding him in death was a son, Bernard G. Amos Jr. Lewiston Tribune October 29, 1996
