Obituary - Services Held Sunday For Ethel Caldwell - Mrs. Ethel Irene Caldwell was buried Sunday in the Lovington Ceremtary (sic) beside the body of her husband, A. F. Caldwell, who preceded her in death two years ago. Mrs. Caldwell died in Amarillo, Texas, Thursday, where she was visiting with her sister, Mrs. C. L. Garwood. She became ill and relatives were called to her bedside, death occurring on June16th. Mrs. Caldwell had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Jessie Lou Osborn, for the past two years. Mrs. Osborn was with her at the time of her death. Services were held Sunday afternoon at the Smith-Yarbro Chapel with Rev. W. M. Beauchamp officiating. He was assisted by Rev. George Garwood of Woodsville, California, a nephew. Survivors besides Mrs. Osborn, include four other children, Mrs. R. J. Windson of Elida, and Mrs. Dorothy Born of Los Angeles, two sons, Bart Caldwell of Artesia, and Frank Caldwell of Odessa. Five sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Eva Vosberg, Dow Wood, and Cub Wood of Lovington, Mrs. Chas Llyod (sic) of Deming, Mrs. Ralph Windsor of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Mrs. Tony Hardin of Wasco, California. Casketbearers were Lem Poline, Portales; Woodrow Wood and J. C. Crow of Lovington, R. B. Wright of Albuquerque, all nephews, and A. W. Blount, and Windham Overmier of Albuquerque, grandson. Flower girls were grand-daughters, Mary Jane Osborn of Lovington, and Mary Caldwell of Santa Fe; Nieces, Mrs. W. C. Overmier, Mrs. Ben Frances of Albuquerque, Mrs. J. C.
