SWEETWATER RESIDENT DIES; RITES TUESDAY Sweetwater, Dec. 15 - William Samuel Womack, 83, a resident of Nolan County since 1931, died at his home, 400 Canfil, at 2:30 p.m. Monday. Funeral will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in Nolan Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin Byrd, a former pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Slatter Chapel Cemetery, with Wells Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Womack, a retired farmer, was born Sept. 20, 1864. He was married 55 years ago to Miss Canary Reynolds of Decatur. He was a member of the Baptist Church and had lived in the Nolan-Divide community. Survivors include his wife; six sons, Alfred of Waxahachie, Walter of Nolan, Edward, Ernest and Jessie of Sweetwater, and Henry of Amarillo; three daughters, Miss Ida Womack of Snyder, Okla., Mrs. Ada Reppond of Huntington, Tex., and Mrs. Grace Barton of Sweetwater; 30 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
