William Jefferson Womack: William J. Womack was born in Washington County, Arkansas. Lived in Parker County, Texas from 1856 to 1876. William J. Womack served in the 19th Texas Calvary, Company F From 1862 through the duration of the civil war. William J. Womack served as Fourth Cpl. Company F was mustered into service in June 1862 in Weatherford, Texas. Capt. Ball was promoted from First Lieutenant to Captain of this company in February of 1863 when Capt. Saunders resigned.
